Our children have been completely failed by our education system - it is no longer fit for purpose, and it should be of national embarressment that most of our young adults leave school not much wiser than when they started.

We may rank high in some international league tables but these focus more on attendance rather than acedemic abilities, and this will get worse now that Labour have put private education completely out of reach for all but the richest of families - again, it's the poor that are being completely let down by the very government who promised they would support them!
